Freelance
Web Developer
Over the years I've done some small websites for friends and family members. In addition to building these websites. I also host them on a server reseller plan that I have with HostGator. These sites were done mostly for free.
I have 2 examples of my freelance work below. I've built many more. While I was working professionally and full time, it was difficult to continue to update and maintain these freelance sites. Several of the others have been re-designed and re-built over the years. These two are still the same as when initially developed.United Action Connecticut
United Action is a social justice group who's mission is to bring communities together to foster
initiatives that improving lives for people in the state. UACT's main issues are civil rights for immigrants, health care access for all, protections for domestic workers, and mental health awareness.
In the past they've also worked on tax reform law and stronger gun controls for the state. In addition to building and hosting the website, I also help build an ad booklet for their social justice banquet
each year. I'll design the cover based on the theme; I'll align the articles and ads into the booklet; and I'll save it as a PDF for printing.
