Software Engineer

In August of 2020. I started work for a software company called i-Tul Design and Software Inc. as a PHP developer. At i-Tul I built very customized tools for a wide range of clients and customers. Most sites that I worked on at i-Tul were built using the Laravel PHP library. My first few months there were spent learning how to code for Laravel which enforces a strict object-oriented Model-View-Controller (MVC) architecture. Although most sites were built using Laravel, I also worked on many others built in various platforms or libraries such as Wordpress, CodeIgnitor, Hubspot, and OS Commerce.
During my time at i-Tul, I worked on dozens of websites. Although there were 3 primary ones that I was the lead developer on. Service Window, Rocky Mountain Auto Works, and Bestlighting where my 3 most frequent sites. For these 3 nearly all of the updates, bugs, or new features were sent to me. These were all on-going projects in which were regularly building new features for our customers to use.
Service Window
ServiceWindow is a job work order system for service professionals, such as plumbers,
electricians, and handymen. ServiceWindow alows a franchise owner, or service technician to create estimates,
manage customers, manage employees, orgainze stock, set low stock alerts, manage parts, send invoices, create reciepts, and mangage a budget along with numerous other features.
There is also an integrated calendar and
numerous franchise configuration options. There is also an itegrated calendar that can be toggled per employee to see who is being sent where and when. This was the website I
worked on the most during my time
at i-Tul. It also uses several API connections such as Google Maps for locating addresses and Quickbooks for payment processing.
Rocky Mountain Auto Works

Rocky Mountain is an auto shop that specializes in window tints, electronics, and paint protection.
At i-Tul we built Rocky Mountain a front end form, and software for managing customers and jobs going through thier shop. The software we built allows
them to add products or services, manage customers, create jobs, and move those jobs through thier bays. The system we built allows various employees to check off each section of
the vehcile as a job is worked on. Then after the job is completed it has to be checked off again by quality control. The system also includes addtional tools for generating and sending
invoices and receipts.
Best Lighting
Best Lighting sells a variety of high end lighting fixtures for both indoor and outdoor lighting. As lead developer for Best Lighing I worked on updating thier store front and on the admin system that allows them to
manage thier products. I built a few custom contact forms, made navigation edits, and created the 3D lighting layout display which is built using the Zonal API.
